The Problems With Recycling PVC
Only 10.3% of the 5.5 billion kilograms produced or recycled PVC, which has a lot of its own problems. LDPE is plastic bags; HDPE is laundry and bleach bottles. So that leaves 23 billion kilograms that are out in the environment. That's 28 billion kilograms produced in one year.
