Engaging on Social Media Is Not Engagement Enough

i made the mistake of thinking that, like, arguments on twitter a were things that you could win. And for me, the beginning and end of my engagement with the subject is the essay that i've published. People tend to get really disappointed that whatever i'm writing about isn't my lifelong passion. So feel free to tell me that i'm wrong, but you're not really looking for a conversation. You're looking for affirmation of your point of view and acknowledgment. I don't think, actually, i know, it's not my job to do that for you. You have to figure that out on your own. It's anornet is a mess. Its a messss
