The Halo Effect Is Really Important

When a person sees an agreeable characteristic in something with someone, they assume another agreeable characteristic. For example, if a Trump supporter sees someone wearing a MAGA cap, he's likely to think that person is also decent, honest, hardworking, et cetera. We tend to view out group members as all the same and be believing all of them are good at what they do.
