The third five breaths is boosting or shifting the heart, connecting to your ideal performance state on the inhale and letting go on the exhale for the last five breaths. And what's amazing is that I've seen over and over clients using this system to prepare in advance for challenge - whether it's someone with a phobia of flying, or someone preparing for the Olympic Games. They've used these techniques to help them reduce anticipatory anxiety and also give their heart a sense of how they want to respond during the performance moment.
