Sally Kohn: Understanding the causes gives us a way out, it gives us a solution. You need to nationalize these industries are so essential to the functioning of our society, they need to be nationalized. Workers need to be unionized. They need to be able to go on strike to bring attention to issues like skipping over safety and missing inspections and cutting corners so you can generate profit. Once you say that these are the real causes, then there's real solutions - political organization, working class labor organization. It's going to be regulation or nationalization from the top down.
