There was an initial sort of burst of enthusiasm for facial recognition technology. And then there's a lag, and then you start to see the unintended consequences. So many of these things rely on machine learning, which is prone to bias. The users of facial recognition seisn't that weird to say that if it's in the public domain,. That you're a user of facial recognition, but you have not consented to being scant.
