Do You Really Know if You're Copying Other People's Behavior?

This is an evolved part of human cognition. Researchers call this behavior contagion. This is the kind of thing that you see in animals. If you watch fish, they to school around, and it looks like they're all kind of copying each other's behavior. It turns out they kind of are. And so it really does seem behaviour contagion. But you dn't need to look to fish. This is something that we do quite naturally.
