In the early days of the war, i felt myself like more drawn towards the realist, security focused explanations for orputence decisionsay cause. Having learned a litle bit more about eastern european history since then, i guess i've leaned more about just that therl like very long time history. Ther hundreds of years of russia consistently being very interesting and intervening in other eastern European countries. And maybe it's like general sense of entitlement, perhaps, that these are countries in its sphere of influence,. which is maybe, like, re consider ma. Maybe poton is kind of just telling the truth when he says that he's motivated by these cultural factors.
