Vancouver is the land of net working events. i threw myself into going to as many networking events as possible. Through those networking events, i actually met somebody who became my business partner. And he had an idea for a soft ware business. He did actually pay me a salary, even though we were co founders,. But mainly because i had to survive and he put money in Because he'd recently sold a business. It was just an awesome whirlwind, 18 months of building this tex stat up from nothing. Using mainly social media and a whole lot of net working - which was my role -- I can't say enough for that experience. I really do love telling the story beause
