I Promised the Universe I Would Be a Writer

i was 50 pages into this thing, and i'm 25 years old. It's not good, and it's not, i know what a good novel is,. And the only way i've finished my first novel because it wasn't good. I'd never writen a novel before, so, ow, why would it be good? Who like, wakes up and knows how to write a novel? But that's how i got through that first book: just like, i just want it done. Because, as my mother always taught me, done is better than good.
