Do You Know What Your Adviser Is Doing for You?

The value of an adviser is not thatheyre codto hold your hand and tell you not to sell. There's a lot more to it than that, but how did you feel? How did you react in a bad market? Were you able to sleep at night? Did you have trust and faith that the adviser was going to get you to your destination and do what they said they were going to do? Those are allth things that are hard to qualify, but that are really material, in my opinion. It has to be more than returns, though. Because anybody, any money manager, will go through periods where the market mason look foolish.
