On Friday evening, it was late here on the East Coast, I think around seven or something out there in California, all of a sudden. Party clients stopped working with an authentication. So what we now seem to know as we record here on Monday is that it's exactly what we feared: Twitter made the decision to kill popular third party clients like tweet bot and Twitterific. And pretty, yeah, it's pretty clear that they had some sort of internal threshold of usage that if an app was over a certain number, they got the axe that they were under.
