Agatha Miller's Cairo-Sajourn
Agatha Miller was 18 years old when she wrote Snow upon the Desert. The novel is a Jane Austen-type social satire that's basically laughing at all of these British as a board in Cairo. She does quite well on the marriage market, with nine engagement offers during her trip to Egypt. How do they do it? Do you sit down in an evening? Have they got a Victorian?
