The Rotational Blur of the Camera Shutter

The strange thing about it is that it motion blur in most of the frame. And the motion blur is rotational. When the blur line is actually curved, then the camera is actually being rotated. Yet, the upper corner of the frame is almost completely sharp. That can't occur because the shutter blocks light coming into the shutter. It's a very, very subtle thing. Most of the time you can never see the results of it.
