How to Build a Product to a Startup

Every startup is just a hypothesis. You have a hypothesis that there's a novel, valuable company to be built in this area. But before I launch into solving that problem, can I get confirmation that problem exists? Is there another data source that actually confirms that? Sometimes customer insights are metrics-based but if it was a qualitative source, look for a quantitative validator as well. The biggest and hardest problem is figure out which problems to focus your time on.
