You've got to try and listen to things that you can understand because that's absolutely vital to your natural process of sort of acquiring the language. So I suggest that you could get an audiobook, get some real books for native speakers, listen to BBC radio or BBC podcasts, subscribe to podcasts for native speakers. You know like Luke's English podcast and also listen to the more complicated stuff as well but choose something that you genuinely want to listen to. Most people then just subscribe to like the BBC News podcast but honestly how many of you would actually listen to a BBC News podcast?
