Aristotle often criticised plato for holding that forms are radically separate from the things around us. But if shadowy cave world is separate from sunny world outside, it isn't radically separate. We can grasp reality by means of transitory, ill considered beliefs or with solid knowledge. The philosopher's approach demand truth and nothing but the truth.
