There is data to suggest that if you don't know what your salary expectations are, and also don't negotiate them, you can miss out on about ten per cent. The research entrigued me so much was thinking about it, not even in the labor markets, but just how much any person can miss out on opportunities in life. How significant, given the range and variety of sensitive questions and topics? I don't think you can put a number to it....
