Jessica Bellini: I think we hear this statistic just about every day that human drivers cause 94% of crashes. She says a new study looks at the kinds of driver errors that make up that 94%. And she says only about a third of crashes are really due to people not seeing what's in the world or being impaired, which is another thing autonomous vehicles wouldn't do. Bellini: We have human designers who are designing these vehicles, and we want to make sure they're not programming in some of these same kind of human decision making mistakes.
