Are the Cheap Boxes Dependent on Cheap Energy?
Energy costs at the consumer level are much higher in europe than they are in the us. A filling up my jeap tank here in france was costing me 100 uros, and then a giant suv for seven people cost me only 70 dollars in the UK. The build out of the box that had tend to be inexpensive. And then drove a very attractive financial model. But right now is that the cost to build all these stores has gone, is going up,. So the economics for some of these concepts is less attractive.
