The Thumbnail Is Better, Less Is More

Simple is better, less is more. Compliment your title and don't include the text of your title and your thumbnail. Be mindful of the color that you choose for the text in relation to what the background or the dominant color in a thumbnail is. Your dark, broody, Batman look at thumbnails are not going to get the job done on YouTube because people aren't going to spend time looking at it.
