How to View an Eclipse Without Burning Your Eyeballs Out
These are special solar eclipse viewing glasses. They look like those 3D glasses you get at the movies, and these are made out of paper. These babies have special dark lenses that are going to protect my eyes during the eclipse. It's dangerous to look directly at the sun, even during an eclipse. ultraviolet light from the sun is particularly dangerous for our eyes because our eyes aren't built to take in such a powerful amount of light.
