Mary becomes more and more intrigued with finding the garden. Her nurse, Martha, increases her interest when she tells her the backstory to this mysterious garden. It had been a place where Mr Craven and his wife had spent many happy hours. Mrs Craven used to sit in a rose-covered branch at the top of one of the garden's trees. She soon died of her injuries and after her death, Archerball Craven could no longer bear the garden and had it locked shut forever. Mary notices the robin, her friend, flying over the walls into the secret garden. And you're like, wow, she's getting fitter. Then we get hit with Mary began to laugh
