Robo Cop - I Don't Like It, but I Appreciate It

Robo cop is really fascinating to me, because it falls into the category of movies that are unironically loved by the exact people that the movie hates. There are people who get it and who find it interesting. And then there are people who dunnin cruger themselves into, you know, deeply loving and evangelizing something that is undermining the corpe principles of their life. I don't think it's done in kruger on that one, right? Like, fight club really feels like, not on a surface level, but like three levels down, that it is upholding the ideas that it seems to be upholding.
