According to tradition, that the site of migdal edder was where all the lambs for the temple sacrifices were kept. And at some point during the year, as you led up to passover, they would find the unblemished lambs among this big flock and wrap them in swaddling clothes. None of that actually fits anything with what we know from the sources.
