How Did You Transition From a Background in Psychology to the Field of AI?
Germo martine villar asks, how do you transition from a background in psychology to the field of ai? What would you suggest to young people considering doing the same? I cam there's an intresting issue there. When i was teaching at the u of te a, if you looked at the undergraduates, a lot of computer science undergraduates who were very good ther were also cognitive scientists. And they typically weren't quite as good at the technical staff but they've gone on to do much better thing because they had the interest in the issues.
