How to Study the Creative Process From an Artist
I've studied Rockwell several times and I did many demonstrations in class of Rockwell, mostly to study shape design. That was the thing I chose Rockwell for. The shape design and how he exaggerates things just a little bit where it still feels real. It's not cartoony yet. But the facial expressions just feel more emotional than real life. And then that one gets turned into a study. A study is where you're doing starting to figure out where things go in this composition. You don't know what wigs look like from that era.
