How to Prepare a Coder for a Job

The first thing that our engineering team, the first thing they teach our students is how to learn. We have a team of EIRs, we call them experts in residence, as well as their team who works with them on those professional skills. So once they get done the program, they're prepared to go into an organization and add value immediately. One of our students, he was a driver for Uber. He was a gig worker doing what he could do to earn income for him and his family and came through visiting coders - now he's a developer at Uber.
