Is There a Need for Organized Labor Movement?

When unions are strong, that will end up affecting an entire industry. It also puts all working people in a better position to bargain for larger social goods like healthcare. A strong labor movement has the power to influence legislative bodies like the NLRB and National Labor Relations Board. And I would say again, on a broader societal level, a strong labor movement just by nature raises the floor for everybody.
