Cerebrospinal Fluid: A Waste Disposal System

The lymphatic system was only discovered about 10 years ago. It's a kind of very fine network of tubes that drain cerebrospinal fluid out of brain tissue and ultimately away into the blood. Animal research suggests it helps to take away toxins and compounds made by hard working brain cells.
