Back then, you couldn't afford to be a flake. You'd really be screwing someone over. The internet did change the game. I think it is a special distinction in any era. That any generation have known a time before internet and experienced the birth of the internet to today. But even objectively, like what bigger impact does the internet like? People that are like late 20s now, right? They'll probably be like in another 10, 15 years with their kids. Different, different, different.
