Is There a Future for Thorium Reactors?
Thorium is another radioactive element. It isn't really used as a nuclear fuel, but by bombarding it with neutrons, it can be turned into an isotope of uranium. There are no thorium reactors, viable operating today to produce power at least at any large scale that I know of. India is working actively on thorium reactors.
