Worship is your opportunity to express devotion, dependence, and love. In doing so, you make yourself happy. A lover does not give gifts to the beloved because she is poor. He gives gifts to her because she is already in his eyes possessed of all gifts. And the more he loves, the poorer he thinks his gifts are. If there is no God, then you are a God.
