The Contradiction Between Capitalism and Health and Well-Being

In the 21st century we are seeing the contradictions of capitalism becoming more and more stark. The contradiction between capital accumulation and the health and well-being of the entire context in which we exist is increasing. We have the richest society here in the United States where I'm based in that's ever existed in human history but every major city has blocks and blocks of homeless people who can't get mental health care or basic housing. And so in this way this is an incredibly anti-human system and America is perhaps one of the places it has blossomed the most fully if you will.
