The Relationship Between Frequency and Energy
For certain frequencies which are essentially multiples of the underlying frequency, or underlying spatial frequency, of the latter which the nuclei exist, you will have syste. This is a systematic relationship between the phases of the electrons wave function and the peaks and troughs of the potential energy owing to the position of the nuclei. But as i sad, it only happens to particular wave lengths corresponding to essentially harmonic of the underlying periodicity of the latter structure. So this where this occurs, of course, depends on the ex latter structure of the material in question.
