We're coming down to the final weeks before the midterm election. For people like Kate and I, it's been going on in earnest for three, four months. We know who the candidates are. We know the basic outlines of what races are competitive. But for a lot of the public, it only starts right now or more specifically, for the people whose decision making, it will come down to the election is only starting to come into focus now.
