The Alta Stone: A Late Neolithic Monument
The Alta Stone is a flat stone at one end of the horseshoe in a very kind of ulta-like position. There's work going on to try and point where exactly that old stone is from because it's not from the other areas, I can't really say much about that but there will be some more news coming in the next couple of years about where that stone is from. So what was it actually had going on in the middle there, was that an old, was it used for, how were rituals conducted?
