The Importance of Informational BIPs

The status of an informational BIP doesn't really affect whether or not people can go and build compatible software with it. The meta BIP that kind of cracks me up the most is BIP 39, which is what gives us seed phrases. I think if a BIP gets more support, it definitely helps with adoption. It might have gotten more feedback on how to really nail down the standard.
