Nicos valis has run the olive co operative near roves for forty years. He is a modern organic grower and antre praner, exporting naturally cured olives around europe. Some of them have grown on gnarled and knotted trees older than modern greece. We've always had heat waves in grease, two or three days every summer when the ture goes above 40. This august, the thermometer hit the mid forties and stayed there. And evia's green paradise went up in smoke.
