Is There Evidence of Intestinal Inflammation?
There are studies, not ours, that have taken a look at a bio marker called fecal protecton. That is a protein that can be measured in feces that is a marker of inflammation. Is the condition you're looking at severe enough or concerning enough to take biopy samples from people's guts? Ecause that's pretty invase even to do. I'm sure in the first instancend, there has to be good grounds to do it, but it might tell you more.
