How to Get Your Clients to Pay You Upfront

When possible, get your clients to pay you ahead of doing the work. This is a strategy that architects generally use. The standard industry practice is the old way, which is invoicing for it. Usually the client is a 30 day invoice, they'll pay 30 days later. So, we look at that as hugely problematic from a cash flow perspective.
