Is Starvation Mode Real?

When people lose a lot of weight, it seems the metabolic rate tat we'd measure in my lab here, it goes down. And with heven's work, even six years later, there was still metabolic suppression. So is starvation mode real then and how do you avoid it? I don't think we know all the answers yet. There i what i suspect, and i think chemisat a points to this too, is if you're eating a diet that makes you feel full and makes your brain feel like an fool than you'll be more likely to trigger this response. If youeat foods that are high in fibre, high in protein, those are all signals to your brain
