How AM Models Can Learn Probabilities of Forest Fire Seasons
The models can learn patterns. Once you identify the areas that have higher chances, you can try to help mitigate those areas. You can do resource allocations for those areas. In India, we work in this area and what we did was looking at historical data. What we analyzed was, hey, based on this historical data and based on new satellite data, can we actually build these probability maps? And that actually has worked pretty well.
