QE or QE? What Impact Will QT Have?
The big question is what impact will QT, as I'm going to start calling it, have? We've never been through this scenario before of withdrawing QE. There are some suggestions it could put pressure on our markets in some ways. Equally given we are in the middle of a rate hiking cycle, or we've certainly been through a large number of rate hikes in recent months, it might prove to be just a ripple in the overall pond.
