Is There a Bitcoin Standard?
The world doesn't have a Bitcoin standard yet. There is no open standard for everybody. And then that gives you the ultimate leverage to be able to just work on food stuff or whatever. So in a lot of cases, what's been really crazy is that due to structural adjustment policies many countries whose GDP per capita in real terms declined.
Alex Gladstein is the Chief Strategy Officer at the Human Rights Foundation. He joins me for a deep dive into his upcoming book “Hidden Repression”. We discuss how the IMF and World Bank repress poor countries and funnel their resources to rich ones, and more.
