Is Rhetoric Fundamental to Knowledge Work?

Roxanne Jones: Rhetoric is fundamental to knowledge work because it's about appearing knowledgeable. What I thought was interesting was that Matt's was still claiming that there are knowledge claims that have more beneath them than other knowledge claims. So some knowledge claims are hollow but others are more substantial and to me, you had some interesting things to say also based on your own research into what knowledge actually is in epistemology. Maybe you'd like to talk a little more about these different understandings of knowledge.
