I began to realize that the talabam have more heart, more dedication to the struggle than the afghan soldiers. They see this as a battle of the faith, a trans generatial war to expel the infidels. So i see a lot of parallels to us to transport this unpopular regime in sigon, in vietnam in the sixties and seventies to our current struggle," he says.
