The Benefits of Not Choosing a Failure
It's quite a cool system because then obviously you can like move the block ever so slightly and it will change the shape of the hold load. That was kind of our surmise really. It's a fun thought experiment to play with your climbing friends and climbing family on road trips. Maybe a car journey for someone. I do feel there is a benefit to not being so explicit about what will and won't be a success when failure, like beforehand. If you don't say categorically in your head, this is the goal. I do it or I fail sort of thing. Do you agree with that? Yeah. Or I think it might be a powerful tool to not decide beforehand
