The halving block, or "mineralization," has made it possible for Bitcoins to be worth more than $1billion. This article was amended on November 2, 2013 when we incorrectly stated that Jeff Garzik had been arrested and charged with money laundering after his arrest last year. We are happy to make clear that this does not happen.
