Don't Let Your Child Run
Don't give him the option of running away from you when it's time to change his diaper. Don't signal that you're giving him a choice don't offer him a choice open the door say okay now it's time we're going in. If she could take a step back she could see that this is quite unreasonable what he's asking of her. Let him vent these feelings that are maybe below the surface here with the separation and just the challenge the emotional challenge of a transition. He will feel relieved that he can vent and that his mother adores him and is being the leader that he needs right here. And then when she drops him off I think she'll be there on time
